For longtime resident Caryn Smith, the primary caregiver for her fragile
82-year-old mother, having quality doctors and facilities close by is not just reassuring, but imperative. “Over the last four years my mom has suffered a stroke, fallen and severely broken her leg, and contracted pneumonia. Not only did she need immediate treatment, but she required in-patient rehabilitation services following each of these events.”
Her proximity to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center made that facility the perfect choice for Caryn’s mother.
